Porcelain House
The porcelain house is located on Chifeng Road, Heping District, Tianjin. Its predecessor is a century-old French style old western-style building, designed by the owner of the house, Zhang Lianzhi. Known as a priceless Chinese ancient porcelain museum, it is decorated with a number of antique porcelains. Because of its skillful combination of Chinese classical art elements and the art style of the European Renaissance, it was selected as “The Top Fifteen Museums with Unique Designs Worldwide” by the Huffington Post in the United States.
Zhang Lianzhi used his precious collections to decorate the building, including porcelain pieces, porcelain vases, porcelain plates, porcelain bowls, stone statues, white marble stone lions, and many crystal agates.
In recent years, Tianjin Porcelain House has become a well-known check-in place at home and abroad. It has also become a window for promoting traditional Chinese porcelain culture.

Former Residence of Zhang Xueliang
Zhang Xueliang’s former residence is a three-story French-style western-style building where he lived every time he came to Tianjin from 1924 to 1931.
Walking into the residence, stepping on the wooden floor, and looking at the well-preserved old furniture, you may have a feeling of traveling back to ancient times. On the left and right sides of the hall are Chinese restaurants and Western-style reception halls. On the wall of the Chinese restaurant, there is Zhang Xueliang’s chronology, in which just a few lines record Zhang Xueliang’s whole life.
Coming to the second floor, you can see “Tian Xia Wei Gong” written by Sun Yat-sen which means the world belongs to all, and some calligraphy works by Zhang Xueliang.
The third floor is the family dance hall where the Zhang family held banquets and had rests.
