On the second day of the first lunar month, married daughters will visit parents together with their children and husbands. It was said that the gifts prepared by the married couple must be in pairs. However, parents could not receive all gifts and the couples take parts of gifts home.  Hongbao (red envelop containing money, usually as a Lunar New Year gift) will also be distributed to the aged and the young.

On that day, the God of Wealth will also be sacrificed by businessmen and every household with the bless of making a fortune. Yuan Bao soup, or wonton soup will also be dined at noon.
