Address: Liaocang Art Museum No 2, Jin'an Bridge, No. 68, Shijingshan Street, Shijingshan District, Beijing.
Liaocang Art Museum is situated in Shougang Park, Shijingshan District, with a total area of about 8,000 square meters. It was originally a 30-year-old warehouse and now is a new consumption space after innovation and reconstruction. The museum comprehensively applies XR technology to create a digital scientific and fictional consumption space with multiple formats such as immersive digital light and shadow exhibition halls, digital and real integrated collection museums, holographic restaurants, holographic small performing theaters, and sci-fi-themed libraries. It is currently the only special museum in China that combines physical and digital collections.
Focusing on the mentioned commercial scenarios, the center applies digital content production tools and program development tools such as Unreal Engine, visual programming, and 3D modeling animation to produce AR digital marketing content, digital art exhibitions, AR/VR digital collections, and holographic restaurant digital images. Since its opening, the center has held three large-scale digital art exhibitions: the digital art exhibition of “SAMSKARA” to promote family culture, the exhibition of “Wonderland” to spread traditional folk culture, and the exhibition of "Vitality In Running" to inherit the Xishan Yongding River culture. In the future, they will continue to explore the field of integration of virtual reality and cultural tourism, create a digital sci-fi cultural landmark that integrates data and reality in mutual promotion, and improve the digital display, experience, and marketing capabilities of the museum’s commercial activities, thus forming a distinctive and replicable Liaocang format.
