Located in the northwest of Yanqing District, at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall, a world cultural heritage, Yeyahu National Wetland Park is a national 4A scenic spot, a national wetland park, and a national nature reserve. After more than 50 years of development, the wetland ecosystem with large numbers of animals and plants, high biodiversity, and stability has been formed, which has become one of the important bird habitats in Beijing and even North China.

The reserve's total area is 6,873 hectares, of which 3,939 are wetlands, making it the only wetland bird nature reserve in Beijing. According to the official statistics, the total number of bird species in the park has reached 390, including 22 species under first-class protection in China and 73 species under second-class protection. There are 420 species of higher plants, 40 species of fish, 5 species of amphibians, 10 species of mammals, 182 species of insects, and so on. Therefore, it has become an important bird habitat in North China, and it is also a necessary stop in the migration route of birds from East Asia to Australia.

Yeyahu National Wetland Park is the kidney of the Earth, a paradise for birds and insects, and a home for harmonious coexistence between human and nature.
