Shuanglong Gorge is located 2.5 kilometers south of Huo Village, Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District, and 78 kilometers away from downtown Beijing. In spring, thousands of acres of apricot blossoms bloom here, and the fragrance fills the air. The sides of the mountains are green, and the stream is babbling. What an enjoyment it must be to hike here along mountain streams and adventure in dense forests. In summer, mountain flowers blossom everywhere, miles of streams flow cheerfully, and waterfalls cascade down freely. There are thousands of acres of red apricots and thousands of acres of forests, green mountains, and valleys, and majestic peaks and mountains, so it is also known as "XiaoJiuzhai". In autumn, the air is refreshing; red leaves cover whole mountains; streams flow quietly; and thousands of acres of trees thrive. In winter, there are wonders of freezing waterfalls and rare scenes of miles of glaciers in North China, allowing you to experience a dream tour like in a crystal palace.

Another unique feature of the Shuanglong Gorge is the forest train. When you get on a train, it is just like you reach “Jiapigou” in The Taking of Tiger Mountain, which is an unforgettable experience that you cannot gain in other scenic spots!
