The main scenic areas of Baihua Mountain consist of Main Peak, Meadow, Wanghailou, and so on. At an altitude of 1991 meters, the main peak of Baihua Mountain features surrounding mountains, odd peaks, gurgling streams, and foggy clouds.
Known as the "Natural Zoological and Botanical Garden of North China", the mountain boasts a total of 1292 species of higher plants, accounting for 61.8% of Beijing's plants in total, including 10 plants that are under special national protection, such as Baihua Mountain Grape (the only state-level key protection plant in Beijing), Phellodendron amurense, wild soybean, and so on.
Baihua Mountain is also home to 271 species of terrestrial vertebrates, among which 45 are under special national protection, such as the brown moorhen, black stork, golden eagle which is a state-level protection animal, and so on. In the height of summer, towering trees with lush leaves grow into deep roots and, and hundreds of flowers bloom together, like golden lotus flowers, azaleas, and camellia. Therefore, it becomes an extraordinary place for those looking for relief from the heat and those who want to climb mountains to keep fit.
