Located at the west side of Great Hall of the People, NCPA is one of the Landmarks referred as new “Beijing Sixteen Views”, consisting of the main building, underwater corridor of south and east sides, underground parking zone, artificial lake as well as grassland.

Covering an area of 118,900 square meters, the large-scale public construction contains four theaters with total building area of 220,000 square meters. It is the largest dome-shaped building in the world and harmonious echoes with the artificial lake outside the shell.

The dome-shaped theater stands on the lake and the magnificent Forbidden City is at a short distance. The ancient and the modern intermingle at this place, forming an epitome of the opening-up China.
