In order to promote the "circle-breaking" development of Chinese poetry under the conditions of informatization, digitalization and intelligence, the "Summit Forum on the Development of Chinese Poetry in the Digital Age" was held in Beijing on November 22 in a combination of online and offline mode.

Zhou Wenzhang, president of the Chinese Poetry Society, said that digital technology has profoundly changed the learning, creation, dissemination, education, collection, storage and publication of Chinese poetry. The challenge now is how to integrate Chinese poetry into the digital age more widely and deeply. Therefore, we must learn to use digital tools, strengthen the construction of poetry databases, develop more and more practical poetry software, make full use of digital technology to disseminate poetry, realize the integrated development of "poetry + industry", and widely connect with poetry, science and technology, cultural creativity and other forces.

Song Heyi, Editor-in-Chief of China Culture Media Group, introduced the practical ways, progress and achievements of China Culture Media Group in recent years to explore cultural communication and digital practices of cultural industries, and he believed that in the context of the digital era, it was necessary to make unremitting efforts to promote the creation and dissemination of excellent culture, including Chinese poetry.

The forum was hosted by the Chinese Poetry Society and China Culture Media Group. The theme is "Inheritance and Development of Chinese Poetry in the Digital Age", which is divided into four sections: "Chinese Poetry and Technology", "Chinese Poetry and Cultural Tourism", "Chinese Poetry and Traditional Culture Education and Cultural Creativity" and "Chinese Poetry and New Media". Wu Weishan, Chen Xinhua, Wang Yuming, Xu Qingqun, Zhang Xuefang, Zhang Guyi, Wang Xin, Wang Le and other experts and scholars discussed the inheritance and promotion of Chinese poetry, cultural creativity and dissemination, innovation and development in the digital era.

The forum also unveiled the "Chinese Poetry New Media Communication Platform". According to reports, the platform will do a good job in the "Chinese poetry 'five hundred' boutique selection and broadcast" activity, use poetry to tell Chinese stories well, and rely on online and offline service poetry development. In addition, the forum also held the award ceremony of the "Ode to China Science and Technology" short video competition.
