Beijing Xishan Ski Resort is located in the Sixth Ring Road, Haidian District, in the Hot Spring Snow Sports Park of Wenquan Town. It is only 15 kilometers away from Zhongguancun, with convenient transportation and superior location, and has always been a popular ski destination for skiers in Beijing.

The ski resort has an area of 130,000 square metres, with a maximum drop of 121.5 metres and a total of 7 ski trails, 2 ski trails for beginners, 2 primary ski trails, 2 intermediate ski trails and 1 advanced ski trails. Among these trails, the 4th intermediate ski trail is nearly 1,000 metres long.

In the 2021-2022 snow season, 150,000 skiers, including 30,000 primary and middle school students and more than 30 team building activities of industrial parks were received. Beijing Xishan Ski Resort has successively held the 6th and 7th Beijing Happy Ice and Snow Season Series Activities and the “Welcome the Winter Olympics”--10,000 Skiers’ Carnival of 2019 Haidian-Zhangjiakou Ice and Snow Challenge Season .

There are 160 instructors in the ski school, all of whom hold Occupation Qualification Certificate of China Ski Instructor. The Xishan Ski School offers a diverse range of ski teaching courses, taking into account the level of Chinese skiers. The ski school is composed of provincial and national retired skiers, social ski instructor trainers, examiner and referees.
