The best time to see ginkgoes in Beijing, the autumn landscape is hidden in these places

Old Summer Palace

Recently, the ginkgoes in Old Summer Palace have entered their best viewing period and will continue to do so until early November. There is a ginkgo avenue of nearly 1,000 meters. In late autumn, this golden avenue of gingkoes becomes a photo spot for many visitors.

Zhongshan Park

In late autumn, Zhongshan Park is at its best, attracting many visitors to enjoy the scenery. There is a ginkgo avenue on the south side of the Zhongshan Park. There are 18 ginkgo trees, aged around 50 years old, with trunks of 30 to 40 centimeters in diameter. In late autumn, the leaves of the ginkgo trees turn golden yellow, covering the ground with a ‘golden blanket’.

Jingshan Park

Located at the centre of the north-south axis of Beijing, Jingshan Park was once the highest point in the center of Beijing.

Ditan Park

The Temple of the Earth is a solemn and royal temple, a place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the gods, and the largest surviving altar of earth worship in China. The Gingko Avenue in Ditan Park is now at its best, attracting many visitors to take photos.

Temple of Heaven Park

In autumn, hundreds of ginkgo trees in the northeast corner of the Temple of Heaven Park are clad in gold. More than 60 ginkgo trees are planted on both sides of the road inside the North Gate of of the Temple of Heaven Park, with tall trunks and lush branches.

Corner Tower of the Forbidden City

Recently, the leaves of the ginkgo trees next to the Forbidden City's Corner Tower have turned golden, and many people passing by have stopped to admire them. The ancient building and the gingko leaves are intertwined, and the roof ridge is hidden among the golden gingko leaves, which is a unique flavor.
