Yanqi Lake is located at the foot of Yanshan Mountain, 8 kilometers north of Huairou District in the suburbs of Beijing. It is a water and land area centered on the lake. Every spring and autumn, flocks of geese often come to roost in the lake, which is why it is called Yanqi Lake.

In 2014, the Yanqi Lake Ecological Development Demonstration Area built a total of 348 hectares of park, relying on the ancient locust tree in the Baiyachang Village and the "Old Garden Asking locust tree " landscape node.
