Beijing Xishan National Forest Park (Changhua Scenic Area) is located in Xiaoxishan, a western suburb of Beijing, which belongs to the remnants of the Taihang Mountain. Adjacent to the West Fifth Ring Road, the park is a national forest park close to the urban area of Beijing.
The park has opened up a number of forest health and recreation areas. Lush forests and clean air provide visitors with abundant negative oxygen ions, forming a natural forest oxygen bar.
The autumn leaves here are vast, and the autumn leaf ridge, four-platform area and the Red Leaf Grand Canyon are the best places to see the autumn leaves, with a viewing area of about 2,000 acres.
