Beiping Ice Factory

Since it opened in August last year, Beiping Ice Factory, located at No.25 Huayuan North Road in Haidian District, goes viral and attracts many people.

The first offline experience store opened by the local old brand with a history of 86 years. The butter cookies packed in the nostalgia tin box , the vitamin bread wrapped in wax paper and sodas that heven’t changed the flavor for decades, and all kinds of innovative drinks, ice lolly. They are attract all age groups of old Beijingers to find the memory and the trend now.

The experience store is about 300 square meters, divided into two floors. Viewed from the outside, the two-story building is minimalism style. The two "big white bears" outside the door are particularly eye-catching, and people passing by can't help but take photos.

No.0 store of Daoxiangcun is located at No. 152, Dongsi North Street. This address is the original site of the first business department of Beijing Daoxiangcun South Taste Food Store in the 1980s, which has a special significance.

No.0 store is positioned as traditional food culture experience museum. Through the new decoration design, it integrates decorative symbols closely related to traditional cakes such as auspicious cloudsand other tools. A tea bar has been added, so that you can experience the Chinese tea break combining Beijing flavor tea and special cakes. You can directly see the process of making cakes in the operating room through the glass window.

Since its opening, traditional delicates have captured the hearts of many young consumers.

Liubiju (Qianmen store)

Liubiju, located in Beijing's Qianmen Dashilar, has a history of more than 500 years, and has always been the guardian of authentic Beijing flavor. Here, you can not only buy traditional Liubiju handmade pickles, but also visit the Liubiju Museum, which presents 600 years of pickle culture.

The museum covers an area of 1,853 square meters, which is divided into four units. 

Almost every old object in the museum has a story. There are nearly 100 pieces of the Ming Dynasty wine jug with the words Liubiju, the Qing Dynasty account books, the housing transaction documents, the pictures of making sauce in Liao Dynasty and so on.

In the museum, there are both the excavated Liubiju old well of Ming Dynasty and the restored old shop. Liubiju Museum is like a time and space tunnel, with vivid characters and stories, rich and detailed historical relics, showing people the cultural accumulation and inheritance of this century-old brand.
