Beijing Expo Park is about 500 meters above sea level, with lush forests, backed by Haituo Mountain, and the Guihe Rivercrosses it. The red leaves season has begun in mid-to-late October. The red-leaf tree species here include acer rubrum, euonymus alatus Compactus, cotinus coggygria, etc., and the color-leaf tree species are more diverse, including ginkgo, white birch, ash, sophora japonica Winter Gold, etc. There are more than 150 species and more than 50,000 trees. Due to the low temperature in the park and the large temperature difference between day and night, the biggest feature here is the dense and lush red leaves.
The autumn leaves in the garden complement the classic buildings such as the Botanical Hall and Yongning Pavilion, which are very suitable for punching in and taking pictures. Among them, the two rows of ginkgo trees in the middle of the China Pavilion and Yongning Pavilion are full of autumn fruits. When you climb up to Yongning Pavilion, you can see the magnificent scenery of Beijing Expo Park and the autumn scenery of the Guihe River. There are also two punching-in spots here, one is located by the Guirui Theater, surrounded by red leaves and colorful; the other is located near Wanhuatai, and the red leaves on the covered bridge are very charming.
