Beijing Xishan National Forest Park  (Changhua Scenic Area)

Beijing Xishan National Forest Park (Changhua Scenic Area) is located in Xiaoxi Mountain in the western suburbs of Beijing, which belongs to the ranges of Taihang Mountain. Adjacent to the West Fifth Ring Road, the park is a national forest park close to the urban area of Beijing.

In combination with the mountain landscape, the park has built peony garden, crape myrtle garden, magnolia garden, plum garden, flower creek and other characteristic plant scenic spots and landscape culture landscapes. In addition, the park has opened up a number of forest healthy leisure areas, lush forests and moist clean air provide rich negative oxygen ions for tourists, forming a natural forest oxygen bar.

There is a wide area of red leaves. Red leaf ridge, Sipingtai area and red leaf grand canyon are the best positions to watch red leaves with the area of about 2000 mu. The main  tree species include sumach, yuanbao maple, ginkgo and so on.

Beigong National Forest Park

Beigong National Forest Park is adjacent to Beijing Garden Expo in the east, Qianling Mountain in the west, Aerospace Town in the south, and Jietai Temple in the north. It is a good place to go in autumn.

Beigong National Forest Park covers an area of 3,000 mu with 36,000 trees. It is one of the best places to watch colorful leaves in Beijing. In the golden autumn season, there are more than 20 kinds of colorful leaves, just like oil paintings.

In addition to watching leaves, there are also cultural landscapes including 12 pavilions, corridors, pavilions, towers in Beigong National Forest Park, as well as 15 scenic spots such as Fangze Creek, Xiaojiangnan, Fenglin Road and Hualin Ditch.
