The course of the Liangma River Cruise has been extended to Honglingjin Lake. With a total length of six kilometers, the whole voyage now takes two hours. Currently, during the second phase of the cruise course project, a four-kilometer-long course themed "Journey to Nature" was added, starting from a lake in Chaoyang Park (Sun Park), bypassing Beijing Junwangfu Hotel, crossing the East 4th Ring Road and reaching Honglingjin Lake. Three more docks, namely Bisha, Junwangfu and Honglingjin, have been set up along the course.
The cruise course extension project was instrumental in the renovation and improvement of the canal and its surroundings. Tourists can clearly observe and appreciate the views and green landscapes throughout the journey.
The Liangma river cruise's course boasts 24 bridges and 18 scenic spots, among which fish-watching at SOLONA Bridge and many others have become famous tourist spots.
The increasing popularity of the Liangma River will also contribute to the prosperity of SOLONA and other business districts nearby.
Two magnificent stone ships at Junwangfu Dock are surrounded by a vast outdoor space where facilities like cafes and, afternoon tea venues are planned to be built. On the west side of the canal, a picturesque tea house is already awaiting customers.
The sales of tickets for test runs along the six-kilometer-long course began in late September this year, and the cruise is now available for passengers.
