The Wanshou Temple is opened to the public as the site of the Beijing Art Museum. The exhibition in the museum attracts many tourists.
The Wanshou Temple was built in the fifth year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty. After the renovation and expansion of the Ming and Qing dynasties, it has formed a large ancient architectural complex that integrates temples, gardens and imperial palaces.
Displaying the history of the Wanshou Temple, the exhibition also adds cultural relics newly discovered during the renovation and archaeological excavation in the past five years. Among them, an inscription with burning marks and incomplete characters is particularly valuable. It was written by Prince Heng, the fifth son of Kangxi.
Admission: 20 yuan. The exhibition is free. Please make an appointment on the WeChat official account of the Beijing Art Museum in advance
