Reunion, 团圆 tuán yuán

Traditional festivals in China are endowed with basic connotation of reunion. In many festivals, “reunion” has become an important holiday consciousness which has been passed on from generation to generation.

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, there is a custom of eating "reunion dinner" and drinking "reunion wine" in many parts of China. People who often work or travel abroad need to return home on this day, which has become an obligation and responsibility. It’s the  most straightforward way to express the joy of being reunited with their loved ones.
