19th Qunxing Award | Beijing ranks first in the number of finalists in China

As an important part of the 13th China Art Festival, the 19th Qunxing Award Final is in full swing.

According to reports, 10 masterpieces and 10 teams from Beijing compete for the awards in six tracks of dance, music, drama, Chinese folk art, chorus, and square dance, ranking first in the country. A wide range of subjects and categories, refined production and high quality are the features of Beijing's works shortlisted for the 19th Qunxing Award.

A new square dance track has been added to the 19th Qunxing Awards. The square dance, Together for a Shared Future, selected by Beijing not only ignited the enthusiasm of more than 1 million citizens in Beijing to learn dance, but also triggered responses from more than 3,300 cultural centers across the country, attracting 60.67 million people to learn it. The demonstration videos of Together for a Shared Future have reached 155 million online clicks.

According to the relevant person in charge of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, with targeted encouragement and support, Beijing has collected a total of 126 works in the preliminary stage of the 19th Qunxing Award, of which 30 works were shortlisted for the semi-finals, and 10 works were shortlisted for the final.
