The 2022 NCPA Children's Theatre Season will bring 24-performance productions in five stages to young audiences, kicking off at the end of July with a concert of Nature's Tales, followed by the NCPA's original children's opera Avanti, the Spanish multi-media animated creative children's play The Cat Flies, the European award-winning animated original concert Bonjour, Little Monsters and the children's play Cool Bug School 1 will all be performed one after another.
From 19 to 21 August, the children's theatre production "The Cat Flies" is a creative multimedia animation masterpiece from Spain. The artist is full of ideas and stories. Even if his characters are too active to control, he can solve them with a single stroke of his brush. With a few strokes of the artist's brush and a hilarious plot, and with the actors jumping up and down with their cats and dogs, children will be thrilled to watch.
From 25 to 27 August, the NCPA's original children's opera Avanti returns to the stage after five years. The melodies tell the classic story of a household name, and the witty plot conveys the endless power of bravery, wisdom, and kindness, leading children into the colorful kingdom of opera and evoking fond memories of childhood for parents.
From 25 to 27 August, the award-winning European animated original concert Bonjour, the Little Monster will be staged at the Little Theatre of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, bringing the art of film and the art of theatre together. The show features a series of international original animated films with diverse themes and styles, and features the creative musician Li Xiaoyun as the sound director and lead actress.
Performed from 1 to 6 October, the children's play "Cool Bug School 1" will tell a vivid story that will influence children's lives: every existence in the world has its own unique value and meaning, and every life should be respected and tolerated. The play will teach children the meaning of solidarity and love, inspire courage and gain knowledge of natural science while gaining knowledge of science. It will also provide a series of laughs and surprises with a variety of brainy plots.
