The park is a urban public space landscape characterized by an elevated linear walkway. It was built on the basis of the original industrial pipe corridor, with a total height of 14 meters and a total length of 8.2 kilometers. It is a linear public space in the air providing such services as slow-moving traffic, sightseeing, leisure, fitness and entertainment. It is more than three times longer than the famous High Line in New York.

The park is divided into four sections, namely, the Innovation Workshop, the Industrial Heritage Park, the Qunming Lake, and the Winter Olympics Square. In particular, the section around the Qunming lake is divided into two layers by the aerial corridor: the first layer is 5 meters away from the ground, mainly for walking and sightseeing, and the second layer is 14 meters from the ground, paved with a rubber track for jogging and other exercises. From the second layer, you can enjoy the view of Qunming Lake in the south and the Olympic training venue in the north. In the Industrial Heritage Park, you will encounter many industrial relics and explore their charm in close contact.
