The organizers of "ESports Beijing 2022" announced on August 4 that they will launch a series of activities called "One Session, Various Tournaments" this year. It will foster the development of new cultural enterprises, cultural formats, and cultural consumption patterns, and promote the high-quality development of cultural industries. One of the events is the " ESports Beijing 2022" City Challenge, which officially kicked off on August 4.

The "ESports Beijing 2022" will continue the structure of the four sections of platform building, event organizing, ecological creation, and consumption leading. It will launch a series of "One Session, Various Tournaments" activities. The "One Session" refers to the Beijing International ESports Innovation and Development Conference hosted by the Beijing State-owned Cultural Assets Management Centre, which will release the annual report on the development of Beijing's e-gaming industry, share the latest developments and forecasts of the e-gaming industry, and promote key projects in the field of e-gaming. The "Various Tournaments" refers to the innovative "ESports Beijing" city challenge, which incorporates traditional cultural elements such as old Beijing brands, and sets up three categories: PC game category, emulator category, and VR gaming category, creating Beijing's brand city tournament. The competition will be held simultaneously in all districts of Beijing.

The "ESports Beijing 2022" will also focus on landing a number of top events with international influence, and support the organization of professional events, university events, industry events, and mass events in various forms and categories to create a hierarchical and diversified cyclical e-sports event system.
