1.Beijing Zoo
Beijing Zoo is one of the largest zoos in China and a world-renowned zoo. The zoo covers an area of 80.05 hectares and exhibits more than 5,000 rare wild animals of about 400 species.
The venues of the Beijing Zoo are distributed in the East, West and North areas. Among them, the East Zone has pavilions such as Lion and Tiger Hill, Bear Hill, White Bear Pavilion, Monkey Hill, Nocturnal Animal Pavilion, Feline Pavilion, Pheasant Court and Nursery, and Panda Pavilion. In the West Zone, there are pavilions such as Golden Monkey Pavilion, Amphibian Reptile Pavilion, Orangutan Pavilion, Giraffe Pavilion, Deer Park, Children's Zoo, Antelope Pavilion Area, Penguin Pavilion, Otter Pavilion, Flamingo Pavilion, and Wetland Exhibition Area. In the North Zone, there are Rhinoceros and Hippopotamus Pavilion, Elephant Pavilion, Eagle Hill, Beijing Oceanarium, Polar Animal Pavilion and other pavilions.

2. Beijing Safari Park
Beijing Safari Park is located on the banks of the beautiful Yongding River. 3,600 acres of land are home to more than 5,000 rare wild animals from around the world. Here, visitors can get close to the animals!
Beijing Safari Park has more than 80 themed animal pavilions. It is divided into three major animal exhibits: self-driving tour area, walking tour area and mastodon experience area, as well as a special curiosity park for children.
If you drive to the safari park, you can drive directly into the self-driving tour area after purchasing a ticket. The self-driving tour area covers an area of more than 1200 acres. The 11 km tour route is set up with seven major animal exhibits and 37 scenes, displaying 828 wild animals of 62 species.
In addition to driving, visitors can also take a tour by the "small train" in the park. The waiting area of the "small train" adopts the architectural pattern of quadrangle dwellings. Each courtyard is named after a representative old Beijing place and exhibits related animals.
The walking tour area is 2 kilometers long, with more than 300 animals of more than 20 species available to interact with visitors. The walking area also features a puppet theater, a bird show, and a large animal show!

3.Badaling Wildlife Park
Badaling Wildlife Park is the largest mountain wildlife park in China, located at the foot of Badaling Great Wall and close to Badaling Expressway. The zoo covers an area of more than 6,000 acres, with 30 scenic spots and a small reservoir.
Visitors can take a cable car along the winding route to see the lions, bears, tigers and leopards from close up. You can also enjoy watching and playing with giraffes, zebras, macaques and other tame animals in the walking area.
The Winsome Zoo area is perfect for children to visit. Here, you can see monkeys, kangaroos, peacocks, antelopes, alpacas and more. Children can feed them!

4. Nanhaizi Park Elk Park
Nanhaizi Park not only has beautiful scenery, but also has deer herds. Visitors can have close contact with the deer. It's a treasure place for parents and children to go!
Nanhaizi Elk Park is the first elk nature reserve in China with free-ranging method. With rich reeds and muddy swamps, Nanhaizi covers an area of 60 hectares, creating a good environment for the elk to live. Since July 2, 2022, the Elk Park has reopened its outdoor area.
The Elk Garden is divided into three parts, east and west and north. After entering the gate, there is the entrance of the wooden walkway on the left hand side. You can only visit the western elk reserve by taking the wooden walkway. By renting an electric car at the entrance, you can visit the eastern reserve. You can also go straight north and cross the wooden bridge to reach the animal captivity area.
The deer experience area is a must-see for many visitors! Here you can personally feed the deer. Please be aware that you are not feeding the elk. Elk is a national protection animal, and visitors can not feed it!
