The summer is bright, and the sun is shining on the Great Wall at Huangyaguan, where the history and beauty of the landscape blend together. The reporter recently learned from the Jizhou of Tianjin that the construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park (Tianjin section) is being accelerated, and the Overall Planning of the HuangYaguan Great Wall Scenic Spot (2020-2035) has been revised and completed. Significant progress has been made in the construction of the HuangYaguan Great Wall International Marathon Project and the Tianjin HuangYaguan Great Wall International Marathon Branding Project.

The National Cultural Park of the Great Wall (Tianjin section) is located in Xiaying Town, Jizhou District, Tianjin, with a total length of 40,283 m, divided into 7 major sections and 176 smaller sections, reaching Malan Pass in Zunhua City, Hebei Province in the east and General Pass in Pinggu District, Beijing in the west. As an important part of the Great Wall, Huangyaguan has been described by Great Wall experts as "the epitome of the Great Wall for 10,000 miles".

The masterplan for the Huangyaguan Great Wall insists on protection first, ecological priority and culture as the soul, so as to preserve the original state of the Great Wall with minimum intervention, and to pass on the various historical information and the vicissitudes of the Great Wall. The protection of the natural features of the National Nature Reserve and the National Geopark in the Middle and Upper Yuangujie area of Jizhou will be coordinated. The surrounding natural resources such as flora and fauna, water resources and geological relics will be protected and controlled, creating an ecological and humanistic landscape that blends historical monuments with green water and green mountains. The historical resources such as historical figures, stories and events are explored in-depth to highlight the historical and cultural values of the Jibei Pass and the ancient town of Yuyang.

The Huangyaguan Great Wall Protection and Exhibition Park project mainly includes the protection of the main Huangyaguan scenic spot and the construction of supporting exhibition facilities and visitor facilities, and Jizhou District and the design institute are currently working together to promote the planning and design. Meanwhile, a series of main exhibits are being prepared, including an exhibition of the weapons of the Qi army on the Great Wall, a display of ancient battle flags and an exhibition on the history of the Great Wall resistance.

The Tianjin Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon has been held since 1999 and has become an important event for the International Marathon Association, expanding the brand influence of the Huangyaguan Great Wall International Marathon and improving the quality of culture and tourism support around the Great Wall.
