Shunyi Olympic Water Park is the competition venue for rowing, kayaking, marathon swimming and Paralympic rowing events of the Beijing Olympic Games. It was officially opened to the public in 2009 and was named a national 4A tourist attraction in 2010 and a "National Beijing Shunyi Sports Training Base" by the State General Administration of Sports in 2019. Shunyi Olympic Water Park includes the Shunyi District Water Sports Association and the Shunyi Ice Sports Association. It mainly promotes the popularization of water and ice sports, organizes and undertakes competitive competitions, professional training and consulting services.
