Dabei Temple is located in the mountainside between Sanshan Temple and Longquan Temple. It is said that it was built in the Northern Song Dynasty or Liao and Jin Dynasties (about 1033) and was originally named "Yinji Temple". The temple sits in the west and faces east. There are two ancient Chinese catalpa trees facing the mountain gate. There is a stone tablet in the Hall of the Mountain Gate, "Royal Building Dabei Temple", which was written by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty himself. There are statues of the Four Heavenly Kings in the Hall of the Mountain Gate. Behind the mountain gate hall is the Hall of the Great Hero. In front of the hall, there are ancient bamboos of the Ming Dynasty, which are verdant and lush. Inside the hall, the center is dedicated to the Three Worlds Buddha. The "Eighteen Arhats" statues on both sides are said to be the masterpieces of Liu Yuan, a famous sculptor of the Yuan Dynasty. The statues are of different forms and lifelike. The statues are carved with sandalwood powder and refined sand, which still emits fragrance today. Behind the Hall of the Great Hero is the Yuan Tong Treasure Hall, which houses the colorful statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva. The two ancient ginkgo trees in front of this hall are very sturdy and leafy, with an age of more than 800 years.
