Central Radio and Television Tower

The Central Television and Radio Tower is located in the middle of Beijing's West Third Ring Road, east of the beautiful Yuyuantan Park and the famous Diaoyutai, State Guesthouse, south of the West Railway Station, and north of the tourist attraction Summer Palace.

Covering an area of 15.4 hectares, the tower is 405 meters high and is a landmark in western Beijing. The tower is a high-tech comprehensive building integrating radio and television transmission and tourism, catering and entertainment. The wide trestle plaza, the alabaster retreat corridor, the palace lantern-shaped tower and the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests-style tower base perfectly reproduce the ancient Chinese architectural style and show the exquisite modern architecture.

There are broadcasting exhibition hall, film and television exhibition hall, music hall, video hall, open-air music cafe, music fountain, dome movie, high-grade electronic games and recreation center. At the same time, it also provides services such as catering and tourist goods sales. The trestle square near the base of the tower is a good place for roller skating.
