In spring, it's a good choice to visit Internet-popular fashion neighborhoods in the capital for the weekend!
1. West Damochang Street

The landmarks of this street are related to exchange shops and guild houses. Dating back to its history, it was first formed in the early Republic of China. Due to its proximity to the old Beijing railway station, many inns, guilds and exchange shops were formed here spontaneously. Today, West Damochang Street has not only retained its original cultural characteristics, but also enhanced the overall design of the neighborhood.

Here, you can see the fusion of creativity and art, such as the former site of the Union Hospital and the Yinhao Inn, where the late Qing Dynasty architecture and Western culture are blended. Following the policy, it has been transformed into a cultural street where creativity and technology, ancient architecture and popular elements are blended in the new era.

2. 77 Cultural and Creative Industrial Park

The Cultural and Creative Park is hidden in a quaint gray brick street wall. Looking from afar, there are many rather grand and well-designed modern building complexes. Near the entrance, there are Liangguochang Hutong and Xiaoqudeng Hutong. The brick walls with gray tiles and the aged old Beijing houses form a strong contrast in architectural style with the Cultural and Creative Park.

The steel pipes left behind by the offset printing factory have rusted away. The red brick building with colorful chimneys, the high and low staircases and the drab walls exude a strong industrial atmosphere.

3. Erhekai No. 21 Art District

Erhekai No. 21 Art District was originally a large area of unauthorized buildings. But after remediation, it has been transformed into an Internet-popular art district. There are art museums, public art plazas, music spaces, photography bases, co-working spaces, and outdoor camps for youths in the district, and the facilities are very diverse.

When you step into it, a farmhouse comes into view, with bamboo fences, thatched huts, old corn and so on. Every year around August, large areas of cosmos, lilies, marshmallows and sunflowers bloom. In the second half of October every year, the sea of pink daisies becomes an Internet-popular spot in the Erhekai No. 21 Art District.

It features intentional style buildings, classical colorful villas, and modern landscapes with trendy shapes. It integrates landscape, shopping, food and entertainment.
