Constructed on the base of the original Shougang Power Plant, Shangri-La Shougang Park is one of the auxiliary projects of Big Air Shougang. The hotel is situated at the central place of Shougang Park, next to the snowboard Big Air Venue for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and four stadiums of the National Winter Sports Training Center.

The Shangri-La Shougang Park Project was launched in March 2019 and was completed and put into operation at the end of 2021. As one of the designated hotels for the 2022 Winter Olympics, the hotel contains 283 guest rooms and can accommodate 500 guests.
