01 Jinhai Lake

Jinhai Lake Scenic Area is located 15 kilometers east of Pinggu District and is now an AAAA-level scenic spot. The water area here is 6.5 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, with peaks and beautiful scenery, Jinhai Lake is perfect for a weekend family vacation.

Huguang Tower is located on the top of the hill on the central island of the Jinhai Lake. This seven-story octagonal pagoda-style building with brick and wood structure is one of the main attractions of Jinhai Lake. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the top of the tower.

The lawn here is particularly large, so children can run freely. Take your family to set up a tent on the lawn for wild camping and enjoy the fun of nature!

The dam body painting next to it is the "largest dam body painting in China" painted by 100 artists, with an area of 35,513 square meters. It has been awarded the Guinness World Record for this type of project. The painting consists of ten fragments of Picasso's famous paintings, and is full of artistic atmosphere.

Bibo Garden Island is quiet and private, making it a good recreational resort. There is a tent area on the island, and visitors can bring their own tents and mats. Prepare some fruits and snacks, and you can start a spring picnic! The cost of renting a tent is 150 RMB. If you bring your own tent, the cost is 50 RMB; if you bring your own mat, it is 30 RMB. If you stay overnight in a tent, it is 300 RMB.

02 Wenyu River Park

Wenyu River Park is located at the junction of Chaoyang, Shunyi and Changping districts. With a planning area of 30 square kilometers, it is the largest "green lung" in Beijing. The park is divided into two sections in the east and west, and the main landscapes are "Linglong Wangyue", "Yunshang Terrace", "Flower Stream&Beautiful Land", "Pine Forest" etc.

Currently, forsythia, peach, apricot, magnolia and lilac flowers are blooming in the park, and the 30,000 square meter tent campground is also open. Bring your family here on weekends, set up your tent and enjoy the fun of the countryside!

The most well-known tent camp here is Willow Gully. It is a sunken, long, gentle slope, about 200 meters long, with willow trees on both sides. The shade is perfect for tenting and picnicking.

In addition to Willow Gully, visitors can also go to the Eco-Cultural Center to set up their tents. Visitors are required to bring their own tents and are not allowed to stay overnight. To guarantee the personal safety of visitors, the use of heating tools such as open fires, cassette stoves and induction cookers is prohibited in the park.

03 Sunshine Valley
