1. Paleozoological Museum of China

Located in the Xicheng District of Beijing, the Paleozoological Museum of China displays paleontological fossils and paleolithic specimens produced in strata from the Cambrian Period, more than 500 million years ago, to 10,000 years ago. There are exhibits ranging from the African "living fossil" Latimaeus, to the largest dinosaur in Asia, Mamenchisaurus fossil, to the huge Yellow River elephant skeleton and the skull of the Beijing apes. 2. Beijing Museum of Natural History

Beijing Museum of Natural History is located in the Tianqiao area on the central axis of the capital's southern city, backed by the World Heritage Site Temple of Heaven Park. Similar to the Paleozoological Museum of China, Beijing Museum of Natural History also collects fossils and specimens of various types of paleontology.
