PART 04 Yangmeizhu Byway - "Both literary and normal lifes"
Yangmeizhu Byway is one of the four byways in Qianmen. The alleys are intertwined and you can wander slowly along the hutongs. Here the old and the new are intertwined and coexist harmoniously. It is full of surprises when you enter a store. There are retro cafes with terraces, small stores of old Beijing handicrafts, bookstores with western architecture, and niche cultural collectibles stores. The 500-meter-long hutong combines literary art and people’s normal life. Popular entertainment and niche heritage, American retro and old Beijing style are all mixed and harmoniously coexisting in Yangmeizhu Byway.

PART 05 Dongjiaominxiang - "The Most Beautiful Western Hutongs in Beijing"
Dongjiaominxiang is located in the bustling area of Beijing, but presents a peaceful and quiet scene, so it is considered as a "quiet place amidst the bustle". The alley starts from the south side of Tian'anmen Square and extends eastward to Chongwenmennei Street, with a total length of 3,000 meters. It is the longest hutong in Beijing and has witnessed the ups and downs over the past hundred years.
The Embassy complex in Dongjiaominxiang is the only remaining Western-style complex of the early 20th century in Beijing. The exotic style of the buildings on both sides also makes it a great place to stroll around and take photos.
