Located on the east coast of the North Sea, it was built in the 22the year of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty(1757), which is a separate courtyard hidden in the mountains and forests. The front hall is named "Chunyu Lintang (Spring Rain Falling in the Pond)". And there is a pool in the middle. The north is the main hall - Hua Fang Zhai. There are courtyards in the east and west. The east one is names "Gu Ke Ting", and the west one is named "Xiao Ling Long".A red corridor curves around the garden. The structure is delicate and the environment is chic. It shaped like a large boat moored by the lake in Beihai. It was originally built in the shape of the boat described in the Records of Painted Boat Studio written by Ouyang Xiu. The Qianlong emperor often visited here, and the Guangxu emperor once lived here. The Empress Dowager Cixi also often came here to hold the banquet or listen to the commentary.
