Qionghua Island, referred to as Qiong Island, is also commonly known as "White Pagoda Hill" because of the white pagoda built on the island. According to mythology, Qiong Hua is the flower of Qiong tree (Hua means flower in Chinese), which grows on Penglai Immortal Island, and people can live forever if they eat it. It also means that the island is built after the Jade Pong of the Immortal Island.
