Zeng Wanglun (《赠汪伦》, To Wanglun) is an ancient poem by the Chinese poet 李白 (Lǐ Bái).
《赠汪伦》Zèng WānglúnZeng Wanglun
李白乘舟将欲行,
Lǐ Bái chéng zhōu jiāngyù xíng,
[Li] [Bai] [mount] [boat] [going to] [want] [go]
Li Bai mounts the boat and is about to leave,
忽闻岸上踏歌声。
hū wén ànshàng tàgē shēng.
[suddenly] [hear] [shore] [on] [stamp] [song] [sound]
when he suddenly hears on the shore the sound of song and dance.
桃花潭水深千尺,
Táohuā Tán shuǐ shēn qiān chǐ,
[peach] [flower] [pool] [water] [deep] [thousand] [feet]
The Peach Blossom Pool's waters are a thousand feet deep,
不及汪伦送我情。
bùjí Wānglún sòng wǒ qíng.
[not] [reach] [Wang] [Lun] [see off] [me] [emotion]
yet do not match Wang Lun's emotion as he sees his friend go.
