Qingming Festival is a time to reminisce and remember our ancestors, as well as a time to get closer to nature and go for spring outings. On the occasion of the Qingming holiday, Beijing Municipal Parks and the Chinese Garden Museum launched 19 online and offline theme activities, calling on visitors and citizens to remember the martyrs, learn the history of the CPC, and inherit the cultures.
1. Red Qingming - Reminiscing the martyrs and passing on the red lineage
Each Qingming Festival, there are numerous citizens and tourists who come to the patriotic education bases of the city parks to pay tribute to the revolutionary martyrs and remember the red footprints. The red cultural attractions in the park have also become places for the general public to pay tribute to the revolutionary heroes and inherit the red lineage.
Fragrant Hill Park has launched a red culture tour to collect badges and punch cards. The former site of Xiangshan Revolutionary Memorial Site and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall of Biyun Temple, Plowing and Weaving Scenic Area in Summer Palace, Yishou Hall, and Divine Music Office in Temple of Heaven Park carried out voluntary interpretation services during the Qingming Festival. There were red culture themed exhibitions at the Tomb of Martyr Gao Junyu in Taoranting Park and the East Gate of Zizhuyuan Park. At the same time, Taoranting Park WeChat public number has set up a "cloud tomb sweeping" for martyr Gao Junyu, where citizens and visitors can learn about revolutionary deeds and leave messages of remembrance online. Zhongshan Park and Yuyuantan Park would use Weibo and WeChat public numbers to launch red culture classes to tell the red stories in the park.
2. Tour Qingming Online: experience traditional culture online
During the Qingming Festival, the municipal parks and the Chinese Garden Museum carried out online folklore science interactive experience activities, introducing the Qingming festival culture, folklore, spring flowers and plants and other knowledge. At the same time, the Chinese Garden Museum, Temple of Heaven Park and Zizhuyuan Park invited citizens and visitors to savor the Book of Songs online in the form of livestreaming.
3. Diverse Qingming - share ecological gardens in multiple ways
During the Qingming Festival, the municipal parks also prepared "multiple gifts" for visitors to enjoy the culture of Beijing gardens while visiting the parks.
Based on the 5G scene application, Fragrant Hill Park invited visitors to climb the fitness trail. Beihai Park distributed folklore leaflets in the cultural and creative store. Yuyuantan Park offered commemorative tickets on the first day of the Qingming holiday. Yuyuantan Park and Taoranting Park held an ecological photography exhibition and "Spring Reflecting Taoran" photography exhibition respectively.
