From the 1st to the 5th day of the lunar New Year, you can enjoy Beijing opera face painting and paint it yourself at Liang Yue Bookstore and watch the Beijing opera drama in VR at VROOM Immersive Vision, appreciating the deep national emotions in the bright warm colors and pictures.

With a history of more than 3,000 years as a city and more than 800 years as a capital, the unique charm of Beijing is written by the rich history. In Langyuan Park, the "Lantern Riddles Celebrating the New Year" in the main hall of Pixel Gallery has been brightly lit for you. Under the beautiful and spectacular lantern array, you can take pictures and guess lantern riddles freely. There are also many cute Chinese zodiac tiger figures waiting for you in various parts of the park.

During the Chinese New Year, the park is also a perfect place to wear Hanfu, a traditional Chinese costume. The East Hall of the Pixel Gallery will offer Chinese costume rental, costume dressing and photo-taking. So you are welcome to experience the national culture in the ancient architecture of Langyuan Park wearing Hanfu. From the 1st to the 5th day of the lunar New Year, there will be a variety of festive Chinese New Year folk games outdoors in Langyuan Park to help you recapture your childhood memories.

02 Langyuan New Year-Winter Olympic New Year

For Beijing, the year of 2022 is also a Winter Olympic year with ice and snow. This Spring Festival coincides with the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. As a result, “Together for a shared future” becomes the hottest sports oath this winter. From the 1st to the 5th day of the lunar New Year, Lang Yuan Park will witness this historical moment with you, recording this special Spring Festival memory exclusive to Beijing.

The digital experience area in the Reading Room will continue to broadcast the Winter Olympics public class. The wishing tower in the park's small disc will also offer Winter Olympics prayer cards for you to write your hopes for the Chinese New Year and the Beijing Winter Olympics. In the morning of the third day of the lunar New Year, there will be an interactive area with a blind box of Winter Olympics knowledge, where you can play games and win prizes.

At 14:00 and 15:00 on the opening day of the opening day of the Beijing Winter Olympics on February 4, there will also be 2 pop-up cultural performances brought by our neighbors Shanshui Qin Court and f-space to welcome the opening of the Winter Olympics and send blessings for it with music.

On January 1 this year, VROOM, the first immersive VR image experience space in western Beijing, was stationed at Langyuan Park, creating a customized ambient digital space by combining VR technology with art.

From the 1st to the 5th day of the lunar New Year, you can also come to VROOM and experience a special Beijing opera performance: put on VR glasses to immerse yourself in watching the VR version of the traditional drama, experiencing the passionate collision of digital technology and traditional culture.

04 Langyuan New Year-Art New Year

"Let culture and art bear life" has been the firm commitment of the Langyuan Park for more than ten years in the operation of cultural and art parks. From February 1st to February 28th, Langyuan Park will set up a creative and visual New Year's whimsical illustration art exhibition in the outdoor area of Langyuan Park. Several independent artists will refresh your visual experience and take you into the world of restored colors and lines.
