As the Spring Festival, or the Chinese Lunar New Year approaches, Qianmen street in Beijing was decorated to welcome the festival. Qianmen area has been a flourish business area in Beijing hundreds of years ago. It enjoys prime location for it is situated very near the city centre where a number of world-renowned scenic spots and historical sites sit around, such as Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven. All along the main avenue are remarkably beautiful buildings that span hundreds of years, from the mid-17th to the early 20th centuries.
