Prairie Road, also known as China Highway 66, is located at the junction of Zhangbei and Chongli in Zhangjiakou. The west of Zhangbei county is located on the south side of the Yehuling ridge (near the Yehuling pass), and the east to the Huapiling of Chongli county is an important channel connecting Chongli skiing area, Chicheng hot spring area and Zhangbei grassland scenic spot. It is also one of the ten most beautiful highways in Chinese mainland.

It starts from Yehuling in the south of Zhangbei County in the west and Huapiling in Chongli County in the east.
