Are there bamboo forests in Beijing? The answer is yes. Zizhuyuan Park, located in the Third Ring Road West of Beijing and west of Beijing Capital Gymnasium, is a free national 4A scenic spot with evergreen bamboo groves throughout the year.

There are three lakes and two islands in the park. Five arch bridges connect the lake, island and shore together. The promenade, pavilion and arch bridge are interspersed among them, and the bamboo landscape is more attractive.

The largest lake, with a wide surface and a variety of cruise ships, is a good choice for family members to visit on weekends.

The other two lakes are covered with all kinds of aquatic green plants. Summer is the season when lotus flowers are in full bloom. In addition to watching bamboo overseas, Zizhuyuan can enjoy the lotus here.

The water plants such as reeds on the bank, lotus flowers and lotus leaves in the lake, as well as arch bridges, willows, blue sky and white clouds, constitute a beautiful picture.

There are a large number of pigeons on the bank, which are children's favorite. Children can feed pigeons and adults can take pictures for children.

Ziyuwan, in the northwest of the park, is the site of a canal. The boats here can go directly to the Summer Palace, and you can enjoy the scenery of Beijing along the river by cruise ships.

There are also Buddhist temples in the west, as well as ancient palaces and exhibitions. These landscapes are worth visiting, but they are not open for the time being due to the epidemic situation.
