The site is located in Shuiquangou village, Shuiquangou Town, Shuangqiao District, Chengde city. On October 20, 2008, it was announced by the People's Government of Hebei Province as the fifth batch of provincial cultural relics protection units.
Shuiquangou Village: Shuiquangou village is located in the northwest of Shuangqiao District, covering an area of 7 square kilometers, 2 kilometers away from the town government, adjacent to Shidongzigou village in the south and Shiziyuan village in the north. There is road, called West Shanzhuang road, connecting the urban area in the village and the outside world. There are 8 villagers' groups under the jurisdiction of the whole village, including 580 households with a population of 1025. The main ethnic groups are Han, Manchu and Hui. There are 62 party members in Shuiquangou village, 38 representatives of villagers, 6 leaders for becoming rich, 2 doctors, 1 vet. The village presents a good development situation of "fast economic development in good quality, reasonable industrial layout, social stability, and comprehensive strengthening of grass-roots party organizations".
