Tucked away in Wudaoying Hutong, School Live Bar is the stomping ground for Beijing's live music goings-on. Out of strong liking for rock and roll, Liu Fei decided to join other founders to open School Live Bar. Maybe it is the reason why Liu Fei is always as youthful and cool as rock and roll. If you are not keen on drinks and live music performances, the bar indeed has little to recommend it.

For urban hipsters who hank after freedom and distinctiveness, the numerous all-night music performances here all the year round remain a big draw. When the performances come around, they will swarm here to abandon themselves to a drinking spree while enjoying live performances. Having entered it, you will walk past a long aisle. On the left is School Bar and on the right is Live Stage. Despite of a small space, the stage appears much realer and purer for you don’t need to look up your heads when listing to performances.
