1. Beijing Wild Duck Lake National Wetland Park

Beijing Wild Duck Lake National Wetland Park, located in the northwest of Yanqing District, Beijing, is a natural and artificial composite wetland, covering a total area of 283.4 hectares. Wild Duck Lake is the only Wetland Bird Nature Reserve in Beijing. After more than 50 years of development, a wetland ecosystem with rich animal and plant resources, high biodiversity and stability has been formed, which was become one of the important bird habitats in Beijing and even North China.

2. Daoxianghu Lake scenic spot

Daoxianghu Lake scenic area is located in the northwest of Haidian District, Beijing, covering an area of 11.8 square kilometers. It is characterized by beautiful waterfront landscape, green ecological wetland, fresh rural scenery and comfortable overall environment. You can listen to the birds in the morning, look at the willows swaying with the wind beside the water, very comfortable.

3. Mentougou Sanjiadian Cattail Wetland

Walking along the water, you can only see the quiet lake, a lot of dandelion and mountain peaks. When the wind blows over the lake, dandelion and reed sing with the wind, and thus groups of egrets, wild ducks and small waterfowl are aroused. Tourists on both sides hold telescopes and cameras to watch and record this beautiful picture. There are various water birds. Someone even saw groups of egrets here.

4. Tongzhou Grand Canal Forest Park

As the weather gets warmer, thousands of wild ducks gather on the canal river at the south end of Tongzhou Grand Canal forest park. They dive into the water to feed themselves from timte to time. They become a landscape on the canal and let everyone feel the arrival of spring. Along both sides of the river, a lot of citizens ride bikes, enjoying the slow lifestyle.

5. Liulimiao Wetland Park

With the rich wetland resources and beautiful scenery along White River and Liuli River, Liulimiao Wetland Park and the surrounding forest land, rural and other ecosystems form a new landscape together. In the White River section, there is also the world's endangered and national first-class protected wild bird "black stork", many egrets, mandarin ducks. It is a paradise for the growth and reproduction of animals and plants.

6. Nanhaizi Park

Nanhaizi park is one of the four country parks in Beijing and the largest wetland park in Beijing. The total planning area of the park is 11.65 square kilometers, equivalent to four Summer Palace. There are five scenic spots in the park: the main landscape area in the southeast, the mountain landscape area in the southwest, the wet area in the west, the scenic area in the north and the flower landscape area in the east.

7. Baihewan wetland

Baihewan natural scenic spot is located in Huairou District, 95 kilometers away from Beijing. There are mountains, rivers, rocks, rafting, cross-country driving, rock climbing and other projects. The green vegetation coverage rate of the scenic spot is more than 75%. The forest is lush; the air is fresh; the water quality is pure; and the climate is pleasant.

8. Cuihu Wetland Park

This park is the only approved national urban wetland park in Beijing. It is located in the north of Shangzhuang reservoir in Haidian District, more than 30 kilometers from the center of Beijing. It stands in the key area of “North Green Core” of Haidian and next to the famous poet Nalan Xingde’s garden. The park is rich in animal and plant resources. There are many kinds of original and planted plants, and more than ten scenic spots, such as wetland cultural corridor, butterfly valley, have been designed.

9. Sanlihe River Wetland in Yanqing

This park is the first wetland ecological park in Beijing. The park retains the original forest land and vegetation to the maximum extent. There is Baima spring in the garden, which is located on the west side of Sanlihe River. The spring flows all the year round. The water in the spring is green, clear, sweet and drinkable.

10. Hanshiqiao Wetland Nature Reserve

This is the only existing large reed swamp wetland and a variety of rare waterfowl habitat in Beijing. The reed is growing in a large area here, which is unique in the suburb of Beijing. There are many kinds of aquatic plants and various kinds of birds, which can be seen when rowing a boat on the lake. The fishing area of the wetland is about 200 mu, with grass carps, silver carps, carps, crucians in it.
