Jingshan Park was the highest point of central Beijing. Jingshan Hill was the imperial secret garden in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties and was originally named Qingshan, Wansuishan, Zhenshan and Jingshan. It was also called Meishan among folks.

Five Beijing parks have required real-name ticket booking to crack down on scalpers during the epidemic.Jingshan Park, Taoranting Park and Yuyuantan Park have joined two other parks in Beijing to demand real-name purchasing of tickets, according to the Beijing Municipal Administration Center of Parks.
