Situated in the upper stream of Miyun Reservoir, the Xianju Valley is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Entering the valley, the first scenic spot greeting you will be the “Alpine Lake”. Continue going forward and you will see the “Immortal Pond” which is said to be the place where immortals used to have a bath. The luxuriant forest and moist air will make you feel peaceful and mysterious. The Sanqing Palace is located among the mountains and green cypresses, and there are millennium-old cypresses in the palace showing their antique beauty and delicate fragrance.

Besides the fairyland-like scenery, the wooden houses sitting on brook, the villa hidden in jungle, unique meat pie and fresh vegetables are the secret “weapons” of the Xianju Valley attracting visitors. However, the beauty and delicacies cannot be truly understood unless you come here in person.
