Isolated from hustle and bustle, a river in the hub of Beijing with antique pavilions emerging, streams through grey flagging and quadrangle courtyard. A few steps away is a cluster of traditional hutong buildings featuring grey tiles and walls. That's Beijing's Sanlihe, one of the "memories" of the old Beijingers.

The Sanlihe area of Beijing's Dongcheng district added a unique water scene to its urban landscape. Green lawns, towering willows, red and yellow flowers line each side of river. Fish swim in groups. It might be the best place to enjoy nature while savoring traditional Beijing.

Transportation:
1. Take Subway Line 7 to Zhiqiaowan Station
2. Take Bus No.57 to Sanlihe Stop
