"Charming Beijing", a tourism promotion event hosted by Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, kicked off at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, capital of South Korea on May 22, 2019.

50 photos showcasing Beijing’s culture and tourism photography were exhibited around four themes: Ancient Beijing, Fashion Beijing, Cultural Beijing and Modern Beijing. Among which, photos of the ongoing Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition have great appeal for local visitors and medium.

Public Day activity was also launched on the same day, featuring six interactive activities including “Papercut”, “Clay Sculpture”, “Chinese Tea Art”, “Photographed in Ancient Chinese Costumes”, “Hand-Painted Beijing” and “Tasting Beijing Snacks”.

During the event, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism visited the Seoul Sports and Sightseeing Bureau, introduced information of cultural and tourism exchanges on both sides, and shared experience of promoting domestic culture and tourism as well as improving the capability and quality of tourism service.
