Beigong National Forest Park

Beijing Beigong National Forest Park, a hill-featured natural scenic area, is located in the mountainous area of the northwest Fengtai District in Beijing, 20 km away from downtown Beijing. Beigong got its name because the Emperor once lived in this place. The Park covers an area of 9.145 square kilometers, consisting of three scenic spots - the East scenic area, the West scenic area and the Central scenic area, and nearly 10,000 square meters auxiliary facilities, including Beigong Villa and Mingshenglou.
In the Park, there are 12 humanity landscapes, including various pavilions, corridors, gazeboes and pagodas, and 15 scenic spots such as Fangzexi (natural wetland-featured stream sceneries), Xiaojiangnan (Jiangnan-featured sceneries with a lake area of 16,308 square metres), Fenglinlu (the road planting many acer truncatum trees and albizzia trees) and Hualingou (featuring magnificent northern sceneries). With a vegetation area of 3,000 mu, the Park totally has 253 plant species, among which there are 21 quality tree species, up to 36,000 trees, and more than 30 wild flower species covering over 50,000 square meters. This is a highlight in ecological construction in West Beijing.

Jingzhihu Forest Park
Facing to Taoyukou Reservoir and backing against Yanshan Mountains, Jingzhihu Forest Park featuring mountaineering and recreational fishing is encompassed by fresh air all year round. Wuzuolou Forest Park
Wuzuolou (Five-Building) Forest Park gains its fame for the high and steep mountains, deep and serene valleys, dense forests, streams, ponds and a great variety of forest plants. Tender green, bottle green, maple-leaf red and snow white respectively embody the four seasons in the forest park.
