Tianjin Binhai Aircraft Carrier Theme Park is a domestic attraction that is rare to see in China. As a national AAAA tourist attraction, the park covers a huge area of 220000sq.m, much more bigger than Tianjin East Railway Station. Former Soviet aircraft carrier Kiev was bought after retirement to be the icon of the park. It is now a large-scale military theme park integrating functions of sightseeing, display, performance, recreation and even film and television shoot.

Besides the grand aircraft carrier, there are also attractions of Russian Style Street, destroyer Chongqing, submarine No.353 as well as featured performance of Aircraft Carrier Storm and Extreme Stunt Show. Submarine visit is available to be reserved in advance at the entrance, one reservation for each only. The ticket is a small red notebook printed with "Tourist Passport of Tianjin TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park", very exquisite and special.

The broad avenue linking the entrance is the Russian Style Street. On both sides, there are stores in Russian style serving Russian snacks and handicrafts. The middle park of the avenue is where the Extreme Stunt Show performed. A large square next to the avenue displays some weapons and armaments. Keep going then you will finally see the aircraft carrier. It is over 270m long and, 50m wide and 17F high with the maximum manned capacity of 1400 people and 33 planes. We are so small to stand on such a huge "monster". Please follow the yellow arrows for visit so as not to miss any important part. First stop is the control room that all kinds of operating gears are so attractive to children; then it is the ammunition chamber where layer upon layer of cannonballs are put in order on shelves.

Various types of shipborne missiles and carrier planes are berthed on decks of the aircraft carrier. In another cabin, there are also many planes and a performing stage showing Russian songs and dances in different time periods.

Submarine visit has to be reserved in advance because of the limitation of visitors. The submarine is the first generation of self-development fish attach submarine of China, on active service and 23 years, attending ten more times of important affairs. Destroyer Chongqing is also an authentic warship made great contributions.

Visitors will know more about naval vessels in the park and know how important the military force is for a country.
