Beijing’s foreign-style temple fair, Shijingshan Amusement Park temple fair, will start from the first day of the first lunar month, or February 5 this year, and run for seven days.

Themed “Chinese Lunar New Year, International Spring Festival”, this year’s temple fair covers four parts including international style, love of China, Spring Festival fun, and My Chinese Dream.

Ten themed activities featuring food tasting and purchase, amusement projects experience, performances, float parade, international circus performance and other interactive activities will be staged.

The float parade consists of six vehicles such as Cinderella, vintage, clown and the Chinese zodiac pig, according to the organizer. Over 40 performers from eight countries such as Italy and Spain will offer acrobat shows, high-wire walking events, and magic and clown events. Nearly 50 Chinese traditional and creative cuisines and more than 20 exotic cuisines add more flavor to the fair. Besides, visitors can experience renovated train, Boeing aircraft, ice slide and ice sculptures.
